What does Temperance mean upright?

Temperance carries the energy of careful blending — bringing two things into proportion without rushing the mix. Upright, this card points to integration: working with opposites, finding the rhythm between effort and rest, healing through patient adjustment. Temperance shows up when the answer is calibration rather than decision. As a daily card, watch one place where moderation is the actual skill. In a spread, read it as the long process of getting the mix right.

Temperance reversed: what does it mean?

Reversed, Temperance points to imbalance, excess, or impatience with a process that will not be rushed. This card shows up when you have over-corrected one way and the situation now wants the other, or when discipline has lapsed at the moment it most matters.
