Neptune in the 7th House

The 7th House governs partnership and close one-on-one relationships. Neptune here makes that territory unusually dreamlike. You may fall hard for partners who carry an imaginative quality — artists, healers, spiritual seekers, people who seem to live partly in another world. The placement can produce remarkable spiritual or creative partnerships and can also produce real illusion about who your partner actually is. There is often natural compassion for partners and an unusual capacity to merge emotionally with another person. You feel what they feel. You take on their atmosphere. In good partnerships this is a gift — you support them in ways they did not know they needed. In bad ones, it is a vulnerability that erodes you without your noticing. Marriage, when it happens, often has a fated or destiny-feeling quality. You may believe that you and your partner were meant to be together, that there is something larger at work in the relationship. This can be genuinely true and can also obscure ordinary problems that destiny does not protect you from.
