Neptune in the 2nd House

The 2nd House governs resources, possessions, and values. Neptune here makes that material territory hazy. You may have trouble tracking exactly where money comes from and goes to. Budgets feel constraining in a way you cannot quite name. Financial planning gets put off. Income and expenses both have an indistinct quality. There is often a real spiritual or idealistic relationship with money. You may distrust wealth, treat earning as somehow incompatible with being good, or actively want to live with less than you could have. Or you may be drawn to work that pays poorly because it feels meaningful, accepting financial cost as part of the calling. Earning often comes through artistic, spiritual, or service work. Charities, non-profits, healing professions, the arts — these tend to be either where the income comes from or where significant spending goes. Many Neptune in the 2nd people have a complicated relationship with the material world that they only slowly resolve into something sustainable.
