Baby Pelican flock in dreams

A coordinated group of large fishers — a community working the same waters together.

In its baby form, the symbol points to a new, vulnerable instance of itself — something that requires care, cannot yet defend itself, and may not yet be ready for the world. Forgetting or losing the baby version of the symbol in the dream is one of the dictionary's strongest signals of neglect.

A flock of pelicans in a dream is the dream's image of co-ordinated, unfussy work between people who do the same thing. Pelicans fish in lines and herd shoals together; the dream brings them when the people you are working with are actually pulling in the same direction without needing to discuss it. A pelican flock landing on calm water is the dream marking a healthy collaboration. A flock scattering, with each pelican fishing alone, is the dream noting that the group you are part of has lost its shared rhythm.
