Llama

A mountain pack animal with a thick coat — willing, stubborn carrier of a measured load.

A llama in a dream is the dream's image of a willing carrier whose willingness has a hard limit. The llama will work all day at a measured load; loaded past its limit, it sits down and refuses to move. The dream brings the llama when something in your life — a colleague, a friend, a part of you — is doing real work as long as the load is honestly sized. A llama in train along a mountain path is the dream affirming that the loading is correct. A llama sat down on the trail with no negotiation possible is the dream noting that you exceeded the line the worker had always quietly held, and the work has stopped where it stopped.
