Young Lark in dreams

A bird that climbs to sing — the part of the day where hope rises before the work begins.

In its young form, the symbol is past the early-vulnerable phase but not yet at its full strength — a part of your life that has begun to come into its own and is still learning the shape of itself.

A lark in a dream usually marks the early hour of something, the moment before effort. It is the dream's version of an uncomplicated rising — energy that has not yet been spent on the day. A lark singing overhead is the dream saying that the mood that opens you is the mood worth listening to. A silent lark, or one falling out of the sky, is the dream noting that the part of you that used to lift first thing in the morning has stopped doing so, and asking what put it down.
