Crown of the head

The top of the head — the upper point of the body, the place that points to the sky.

The crown of the head in a dream is the dream's image of the upper point of the body, the part that points to the sky. Across many traditions the crown is the place where the body opens to what is above the body. The dream brings the crown when something in your life — a spiritual reception, a piece of guidance arriving from above, a moment of being blessed or simply being seen from a higher angle — is being received at the top of the person. A crown of the head sealed shut, with no permission given for any reception, is the dream noting that the upper opening has been closed, and the receiving the self was designed for is currently being refused.
