Baby Chamois in dreams

A small, agile mountain ungulate — light-footed grace on difficult ground.

In its baby form, the symbol points to a new, vulnerable instance of itself — something that requires care, cannot yet defend itself, and may not yet be ready for the world. Forgetting or losing the baby version of the symbol in the dream is one of the dictionary's strongest signals of neglect.

A chamois in a dream is the dream's image of agility on ground that punishes hesitation. Chamois cross scree and ledge without committing weight until the next step is sure; the dream brings the animal when you are working through a delicate situation that rewards small, accurate moves. A chamois moving easily across rock is the dream telling you the footwork is right and the climb is yours. A chamois frozen on a ledge is the dream noting that you have stopped trusting your own next step and must move again before the fear sets the body.
