Bath house

A public building for bathing — a shared place where the body is unclothed in company without shame.

A bath house in a dream is the dream's image of a communal place where the ordinary defences of the body are set down in front of other people without that being a sexual or shameful act. The bath house has its own etiquette; people meet stripped, talk plainly, and leave lighter. The dream brings the bath house when something in your life is asking for that kind of equal, undressed contact — a conversation where pretence has to go, a community where the inside of you is visible without being judged. A bath house used easily is the dream affirming that the company is safe to be plain inside. A bath house entered and immediately covering the body is the dream noting that the situation requires the undressing the place is built for and you are not yet able to do it.
