Bargaining
Negotiating an exchange of value — the act of trying to alter the price of something that has been set.
Bargaining in a dream is the dream's image of the act of trying to alter the price of something already set. The bargain is not dishonest; in many markets it is the only way the real price gets found. The dream brings bargaining when something in your life — a contract, a piece of work being valued, an emotional ask — is in the phase where what looks like a fixed number is in fact open to negotiation. A bargain struck at a fair point is the dream affirming the honest exchange. A bargaining that has continued past the real price, the other party walking away, is the dream noting that the negotiation was kept going past the moment of agreement, and what could have been bought has been lost in the haggling.
