Reading in a dream is the dictionary's image of taking in written information. Reading clearly is the dream's image of being able to follow the situation; reading text that blurs is the dictionary's image of trying to take in information that has not yet settled into a readable form.
Where you often see it. Reading a book whose words you cannot quite focus on. Reading a letter you must understand. The dream uses reading for taking in something written — and how much of it you are actually understanding.
What it is not. Reading in a dream is not always study. The dictionary often reads it as the integration of received information.
